I hate to say it, but the Pacer went out of the production line
in 1980, officially, as the last Pacer went off the line on December 4, 1979. Here the pictures of the LAST PACER . A beautiful, like all the Pacers, Wagon with all extras..... Anybody knows where it is now? Let it me know! Ok, here the three last bodies...... This time there is only one left! But, first it has to continue a little further... It begins to look good.... Everybody takes good care of our baby..... It's of course important to be real clean, even, or because it's the last! They check even under the Pacer, Which is in fact completely normal! This time it's for real, the Final Pacer, the glorious Pacer time is over! A message from the possible owner? I bought a 1980 Pacer station wagon in the summer and now I have it on the
road - it did take a while to get some of the small things repaired and I will
take good care of it. VIN AOA68SC116717? This is mine - same color, model everything? Do we qualify? No clear answer until today... HERE A LITTLE MESSAGE FROM OUR PACER FRIEND TIM: Rumor has it that
the last Pacer was crushed with a backhoe and buried in a gravel pit after the
transmission went out on it sometime in the early 1990's. TO ALL AMC WORKERS, TO ALL DESIGNERS, TO DEALERS, TO ALL BUYERS AND TO ALL THE SURVIVORS: A LAST WIDE SMALL BIG THANK YOU VERY MUCH! AS WIDE AND SMALL AS THE PACER WAS! |
