To begin this series of pages about those beautiful years,
I have only time to give a short description of the small differences that came
out.
I will upgrade my website regularly, but to begin, the pictures you seen down here are taken out of a annual World car catalogue of France, the Auto-journal. In 1976, a special serie is made for the bicentennial of the USA. The cars where only for the dealers.  Not many new things for the common people, except the introduction of the double barrel carburetor which help a lot for the performance of the car! Another special edition that we don't know much about, is this Pacer which was on sale in the Netherlands (it seems the car was for sale in LA back in 1999 when I was there!). The price (from 3500$ to 13950NLG) had raised a bit, which is quite normal if the car had to swim over a full water Ocean!
This is how the French (in French of course...) magazine L'autojournal described the new Pacer! Go for 1975 or 1976 or 1977 or 1978 or 1979 or 1980 or even 1981 |
